I'm sitting in the back of The Green Muse - a snippy Austin coffee shop trying to channel the Amsterdam Coffeehaus mystique that actually doesn't even exist in Amsterdam. There is a mariachi band outside playing a version of La Bamba entitled Para Votar Obama. I'm going to throw up.

In case you're wondering what The Frontier Brothers are up to:

- We're recording a full length album produced by Stuart Sullivan in Austin, TX
- We will be playing SXSW day shows in Austin, including the official Austin Daze gala at Ruta Maya, the La Luz shindig with Carlis Star, and a Red Gorilla outfit of some sorts.
- We will be embarking on a national tour with our friends, lovers, cohorts Calhoun in April. If you live in Chicago, New York, Boston, St. Louis, or a variety of TBA locales, get pumped.


In other words, we've been busy.
